Winning Fireplugs Announced

At the Midtown Block Party on Saturday, 9/24, the winners of the fireplug painting contest were announced. We were excited to have 12 artists complete designs on fireplugs along 3rd Street, and neighbors voted for their favorite design online.

Winners:

  • 1st place: Vivian Calderon, Urban Prints, Calder
  • 2nd place: Anna Leal, Pamela MacNett, Capitol, Forster
  • 3rd place: Rachel Campbell, Mexican Plug, Muench

Thanks again to all the artists who submitted designs. Thank you to the Susquehanna Art Museum for jurying the submissions. We think all of the artists did a fabulous job. The painted plugs really add to the beauty and charm of Midtown.

    [...] The Midtown Block Party on 9/24 was a ton of fun and FOM was really excited to see and meet so many great neighbors from the Midtown area. There were food and drink, live entertainment, games and lots of dancing. We also announced the winners of our Paint the Plugs contest. [...]
