Friends of Midtown has several dynamic committees making a difference in our community — all of which are very tightly integrated toward fulfilling our mission. We encourage you to become a member of Friends of Midtown today and get involved in one of these groups!
Beautification
The Beautification Committee is focused on spearheading “clean and green” programs in Midtown, from block clean-ups, to plantings, signage and much more. Together we can create a sustained impact on improving our urban landscape!

Citizen Safety
The Citizen Safety committee looks for opportunities to educate Midtown residents on public safety issues and works with other local community organizations to improve the safety of our neighborhood. The committee coordinates a Midtown Foot Patrol.

Communications
As Friends of Midtown continues to grow, so do the needs for greater outreach! The Communications Committee is a group of writers, designers and networkers who put their creative talents together in our newsletters, website and media relations.

Events
Neighborhood revitalization is a fun and inspiring thing — this mantra is what drives the Events Committee. Whether it’s events that celebrate the arts, creative fundraisers, support of 3rd in the Burg, or socials open to members and prospective members, we enhance the cultural life of the neighborhood as an enjoyable place to live or visit!
