Winning Fireplugs Announced

At the Midtown Block Party on Saturday, 9/24, the winners of the fireplug painting contest were announced. We were excited to have 12 artists complete designs on fireplugs along 3rd Street, and neighbors voted for their favorite design online.

October Beautification Meeting

[ October 5, 2011; 6:15 pm to 7:30 pm. ] The FOM Beautification Committee will meet on Wednesday, October 5 at 6:15pm at Midtown Cinema. Anyone interested in improving the appearance of the Midtown neighborhood can attend.

October Midtown Cleanup

[ October 1, 2011; 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. ] FOM is working with the Midtown Square Action Council, and both New and Old Fox Ridge to collect litter and pull large weeds in Midtown. Fall Block Party

Foot Patrol Update – August

Friends of Midtown continues to run foot patrols in the Midtown neighborhood. A community foot patrol is a group of volunteers organized to increase the safety and livability of their neighborhood. These volunteers take an active role in their community by walking their neighborhood streets for a few hours a month to deter crime and report [...]
