Midtown Trees

Friends of Midtown is committed to growing and protecting Midtown's urban tree canopy. Trees make our neighborhood more beautiful, improve air quality, reduce stormwater runoff, provide shade during hot summer months, and create healthier places for people to live and gather.

Through TreePennsylvania’s Bare Root Tree grant program, Friends of Midtown has planted dozens of trees throughout the neighborhood and continues to advocate for a greener Midtown. ​
